A breath of fresh air
A high driving position, wide visibility and first-class comfort, combined with aerodynamic and technical efficiency and prodigious design… The DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE is a unique feature. Through its proportions and bodywork, DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE directs the air flows to achieve optimum aerodynamic efficiency. The profile is marked by the lighting of the E-TENSE signature, the symbol of the 500 kW electric motor. Its DS MATRIX LED VISION headlamps are accompanied by daytime running lights and DS LIGHT VEIL, the light strips that prefigure the future DS signature.
Travel becomes an art
DS Automobiles imagines a reinvented design to create a travel machine. The screens here are dematerialised. Navigation and infotainment elements are projected on the dashboard while driving information is displayed in augmented reality on the windscreen. The fusion of information and entertainment erases the constraints of touch tablets. Between the seats, the central armrest serves as a guide. Thanks to Leap Motion and Ultrahaptics technologies, the hand commands with a gesture and receives a sensory response. The IRIS artificial intelligence finds its place in the centre of the dashboard and controls the whole thing by simple discussions.
The Future Craft is the result of the combination of French luxury know-how and new noble materials.
The dashboard blade and seat backs are made of straw marquetry. This shaped material represents a perfect alchemy between handcrafted luxury and the desire to work sustainably. The extended-shaped seats are wrapped in cotton satin around a high-density foam technology that puts comfort at the forefront. In the doors, a technical fabric woven from tri-material microfibre brings atmospheric light into the passenger compartment. The unique weave, made by an exceptional craftsman, blends art with technology.
